Product Development Manager
Our client - an established professional and awarding body is looking for an experienced Product Development Manager.
This is a full-time and permanent post.
Hybrid: home-working blended with working out of our client’s London offices.
Starting salary: ca £59k + good benefits
The role
The post holder will be responsible for developing an effective portfolio of products and services to support business growth and optimise commercial returns for the organisation. The products will be aligned to market insight and industry and technology trends.
You will manage the complete product lifecycle for a portfolio of products and services. This includes:
• Ensuring market opportunities are identified and maximised.
• Developing clearly defined value propositions that underpin growth and engagement and support KPI delivery.
• Co-ordinating relevant and timely market insight and maintaining up-to-date market and product knowledge to drive action across the organisation
• Managing budgets and financial performance of products and services in your portfolio.
Candidate profile
The successful candidate will:
Have extensive product development experience
Strong project management skills
Experience of managing and developing a product portfolio
Experience in strategy development and implementation
Good financial management skills
Budget management experience
Be an excellent communicator, and at ease in developing relationships with both technical and commercial individuals. Relationship management skills are vital in this role
Be a strategic and creative thinker.
