Are you passionate about driving strategic planning and shaping the future of an organisation?
Our client – a professional membership organisation is looking for a Planning Manager to take ownership of a corporate planning process, ensuring a customer-first, evidence-based, and risk-aware approach.
In this role, you’ll work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to refine and embed the planning framework, track progress, and enhance alignment with long-term strategic goals. You’ll also play a key role in planning communications, analysis, and continuous improvement - ensuring the process evolves to meet organisational needs.

- 12-month fixed-term contract
- Salary: £43,000 - £45,300 + benefits
- Hybrid: home-working blended with working out of client's London offices (1-2 days a week)
Key responsibilities
Corporate Planning Implementation – Establish and integrate the organisation’s corporate planning framework, enhancing planning capabilities to drive focus and strategic alignment.
Process Coordination & Execution – Oversee the end-to-end corporate planning cycle, ensuring seamless coordination and execution to support the achievement of key organisational priorities.
Candidate profile:
· Knowledge of strategic planning frameworks, methodologies and technologies
· Experience of developing and implementing new corporate planning processes
· An understanding of financial metrics and budgeting
· Knowledge of Objectives and Key results (OKR) planning frameworks
· Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
· Able to plan, organise and track activity, with high attention to detail
· Strong project management skills
· Proficiency in planning and project management software
· Able to communicate plans effectively through written and verbal communication to diverse audiences
· Ability to manage capacity and understand resource constraints
· Experience in managing corporate planning processes
· Experience of using OKR methodologies for corporate planning
· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
